Our History

Arroyo Seco Development Group, LLC has been developing and redeveloping commercial and multi-family residential properties in the western United States since 2001. To date we have completed 18 projects with total combined cost of more than $100,000,000.

Steve Boss is President of Arroyo Seco Development Group. He is responsible for the general operations of the firm including strategic planning, deal sourcing, structuring and negotiations, leasing and development. Prior to forming Arroyo Seco, Mr. Boss held senior positions with Champion Development, Combined Properties, Pan Pacific Retail Properties and CBRE. He started his real estate career in 1986 after graduating from the University of Southern California with a degree in Economics and Finance.

New Acquisitions

Arroyo Seco Development Group has a long history of respect and cooperation with real estate brokers. We ALWAYS protect brokers and often pay commissions directly so that brokers do not have to waste time negotiating fees with sellers of unlisted properties. Many broker references are available. For new acquisitions we target the project types described below. Historically our projects tend to be between $5,000,000 and $25,000,000 in total cost, and we are most successful with projects that are more complicated.

  • Corner parcels at high-traffic, signalized intersections for ground up retail development.
  • Existing retail properties in need of redevelopment where we can add value through repositioning, re-tenanting, and redevelopment.
  • Well located properties in major metro markets for multi-family or mixed –use development or re-development.
